• The Red Hat Partner Offering Certification Team has an opportunity for an Associate Software Engineer located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. In this role you will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software and APIs in support of Red Hat Certification. Red Hat Certification is the arbiter of Partner solution supportability. In this role the associate will leverage their talents and skills – hands-on – contributing to development engineering of RHCert, the Partner test suite, as well as asserting ownership of the internal workflow(s) supporting these cooperative relationships. A skilled developer and welcome team mate that can also hear the voice of the customer goes a long way toward describing the ideal candidate.

What you will do

• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software and APIs
• Hands-on development engineering of…
  – RHCert tooling and infrastructure
  – The Partner test suite
  – Business workflows related to Red Hat Certification
  – Operational support needs
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Active participant in scrums, spikes, grooming, estimation and sprint planning
• Integrate and collaborate with peers on Quality Engineering, RCA, corrective action implementation
• Be a clear communicator
