Job Description
- Maintain & Understand test automation frameworks and other solutions
- Lead a team of 3 to 4 Software Developers engineers in test
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on programming using Java for automation testing
- Expert knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Web Service testing, Front-End UI automation, Backend Database Testing.
- Knowledge of software development, design patterns, release process, test methodologies
- Expert in Behavior Driven Development approach using Cucumber
- Expert with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
- Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Protractor)
- Experience in cloud integration tools for selenium (Browser Stack, Saucelabs)
- Proficient with Rest and SOAP API testing (Postman, RestSharp, or REST-assured, SOAPUI, Karate)
- Good understanding of database and should be able to write the SQL queries
- Familiar with Builds and Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
- Must have some knowledge of Cloud Technology – AWS, GCP
- Hands-on experience with web technologies (Angular, HTML, JavaScript,)
- Experience working with source control tools (GIT, TFS, or SVN)
- Contribute to version control and integrate changes in pipeline release
- Participate in an Agile team focused on developing automated testing solutions
- Identify productivity metrics to track progress
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving expertise
- Good work ethic
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
