Applications are invited from willing candidates for appointment by direct recruitment to the following 21 posts in COHSEM, Manipur on regular basis
Assistant Programmer (IT)
- BE, BTech in Computer Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering OR Master of Computer Application
- Knowledge of Manipuri, Hindi and English
Lower Division Assistant
- Degree of a recognized University.
- Knowledge of Computer Operation along with minimum 6 months certificate course in Computer concepts + multimedia + internet
- Knowledge of Manipuri, Hindi and English
Data Assistant
- Degree of a recognized University.
- Knowledge of Computer Operation and proficiency in MS office and PageMaker [with 6 months certificate course in Computer concepts + multimedia + internet + MS Office + PageMaker]
- Knowledge of Manipuri, Hindi and English
Driver
- HSLC or equivalent from any recognized Board/ Council
- Light vehicle DL issued by the Transport Department in the form of Smart Card
- 3 years experience from a registered motor workshop

About Company: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur was established in the year 1992 under the provisions of the Manipur Higher Secondary Act, 1992 (Manipur Act 4 of 1992). Prior to the establishment of the Council, the +2 courses in the state were conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur as Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate course in the Higher Secondary Schools and Pre-University course by the Manipur university in the College.
But, with the establishment of the Council the +2 courses of the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur and Manipur University were taken over and amalgamated into Higher Secondary course under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.
The Council conducted the Higher Secondary Examination, 1993 as its first public examination in the state.
