DBOI Global Services Pvt. Ltd.

About Company: On March 8, 2013, the DBOI Global Services team in Bangalore, India, formalized a ‘Put a smile on a child’s face’ initiative with the Vittasandra Government School to improve the quality of classroom learning experienced by youth in local communities.

This had earlier involved Deutsche volunteers contributing their time and energy to raise funds in excess of EUR 1,200 to sponsor students’ school bags, stationery and furniture. A partnership ceremony at Vittasandra school’s premises, situated close to the Bank’s office at Electronic City in Bangalore, was attended by not only local employees but also by visiting members of senior management.

After a briefing from the school principal on challenges facing the institution, Deutsche’s senior employees were truly moved by the experience and spoke strongly in support of the Bank’s commitment to the programme.
