Job Description
Details
- Job Title: Test Engineer
- Location: Mumbai – Churchgate
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze the requirements from the client and read all the documents like BRS and decide what needs to be tested
- Analyze BRS and get knowledge transfer for CR-change request
- Participating in preparing Test Plans
- Execute Manual test cases as required by the project
- Prepare Test Cases and Test Data for the test cases
- Prepare Test Environment to execute the test cases
- Defect reporting and tracking till closure
- Execute automation suite for regression cycles as required
- Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects
- Give mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it
- Prepare Summary Reports
- Compliance of all required documentation
- Contribute to Team Review Meetings
- Prepare and maintain test case repositories
- Understand and follow the QA processes at Client site
