Who are we looking for?

• Python or Java Programming knowledge is mandatory
• Excellent with one or more test frameworks. Understanding of Selenium
• Exposure to Automation strategy, Performance testing, Cross browser testing
• Positive attitude towards continuous learning, improving product as well as oneself
• Good written as well as verbal communication skills (English)
• Linux Knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work without supervision is a major plus

What will you be doing?

• Understand requirement/user story and design test cases for the stated requirements as per the Test strategy defined by the lead. You will work along with developers to figure out positive as well as negative test cases
• Management of test cases, creating test plans
• Although unit tests will be coded by developers, you would be expected to be able to run them as and when needed
• Write executable test cases using Selenium (either Java or Python, Python preferred) to test website front end. Other industry leading frameworks/tools (Postman for example) to test APIs and system
• Execute various test plans time to time, build reports. It could be end-to-end testing, regression test, unit tests depending on the necessity. You would also be creating schedules for different type of test runs
• Setting up of test environments and independently holding accountability of testing modules
• Hold accountability of testing modules independently
