Job Purpose:

• The scope of the role is centred around assigned project activities to provide solutions with excellent technical understanding and minimal supervision. Responsibilities include execution and reporting of projects tasks, adapting to dynamic changes in project, awareness on process, tools and quality compliance

Impact and Influence:

• Impacts completion of complex assignments with the application of knowledge of tools, principles, practices and procedures
• Impacts on time delivery by collaborating with inter disciplinary team at various stages of the project life cycle
• Influences efficiency, stability, quality and performance of system resources by analysing and making right decisions
• Influences the technical competency of the team by sharing domain knowledge gained/explored

Principal Accountabilities (A):

• Technical Management
  – Understands requirements
  o Accountable to understand the technical requirements and carryout the project related activities as per project specification
  – Technical delivery
  o Accountable to develop, validate project tasks within assigned time and effort estimated
  o Responsible to proactively pre-empt what is required and ask for help/information from Project Lead/Manager to ensure he/she delivers as expected
  – Tool/Engineering design-awareness and knowledge
  o Responsible to develop required proficiency in usage of relevant tools by acquiring tool knowledge
  o Assess alternative solutions/approaches with in the estimated time/schedule
  – Skill development and contribution
  o Provides inputs for improvement in productivity, upgrade team technical skills by imparting training/sharing knowledge with the team
  o Ensures to be good team player, guides team members, share knowledge and is able to work well in coordination with both in-house team and client team
  o Responsible to proactively upgrade domain knowledge, technical skills as needed by the project
• Project Management
  – Project execution
  o Responsible to understands the scope, purpose and objectives of the project
  o Ensures proper planning, organizing and prioritising work assigned, multi-disciplinary team coordination, efficiently handle those activities as advised by Project Lead/Manager by eliminating unnecessary activities
  – Review and reporting
  o Accountable to participate in reviews related to project deliverables
  – Project execution
  o Contributes to creation of project documents (design document, specification document, check lists, test plan, project closure documents, knowledge documents)
  o Participate in customer meetings along with Project Lead/Manager discussing project tasks and providing status updates based on project need
  – Risk Identification
  o Responsible to identify any project risks in the assigned area and escalate to manager
• Process Management
  – Process and tool awareness
  o Ensures familiarization and compliances to the tools and processes
  – Quality awareness and compliance
  o Ensure to understand and meet the quality standards and maintains records as required by the project. Focuses on quality deliverables and ensures self-compliance
  o Process
  – Responsible to participate in customer meetings periodically and communicate clearly on project requirements and to update progress as per the process
