Job Description – NOC Profile
Network Operation Center (NOC) has the responsibility of monitoring and maintaining the ‘n’ number of server.
Any System malfunctions or server went down NOC will do basic validation and try to fix the issue if not ticket will be assigned to L2 support team.
We also maintain client data and perform data conversion related activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Good verbal & written communication skills
Able to handle global customers
Strong ability to diagnose server or network alerts, events or issues
Should be ready to work in 24X7 environments, rotating shift & rotating Weekly Offs.
Monitoring devices/services, Networks, servers & storage using Nagious, Solar Winds or Zabbix monitoring tool
Quickly address the critical alerts and follow up with respective teams till the issue fix
Handle L1 troubleshooting, diagnose the issue and try to resolve alerts at your end to balance work load of L2 technical support team as per procedural document.
Keep a track on all unresolved incidents / tickets and follow up with different support team until the closer, within defined SLA timelines.
Creating Exchanging account and Chat account for on-boarding employee. Disabling email account and other related account of an employee as per termination process
Performing deployment & patches on Tomcat & Websphere environment.
Preparing Dynamic report and PPT for presentation or Weekly meeting.
Conversion related activities such as Extraction, Deletion, Office duplication, Migration, Office Creation & FTP account creation using specialized tools.
Taking backup of client data.
