CSIR-4PI Recruitment for Project Associates at Bangalore, Last Date – 23 June 2021

CSIR-4PI, for its various on-going Projects in Bangalore – will be engaging well qualified temporary Project staff as under

Project Associate (Level – I)

• First Class (60%) in MSc/ MSc-Tech in Physics/ Applied Physics/Space Physics/Geophysics/Marine Geophysics /Applied Geophysics/Earth Sciences from a recognised Institute/University.
• Knowledge of space geodesy (GPS/GRACE); GPS Data Processing.
• Job Requirements: Programming in MATLAB/ Python/ C/ C++/ FORTRAN

Project Associate (Level – I)

• First Class (60%) in BE/ BTech in Computer Science/Information Science or MCA from a recognised Institute/University.
• Certification in Linux and CCNP/CCNA. Knowledge of MySQL and other database.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and other Transport layer protocols like MPTCP, SCTP & QUIC. Linux Kernel Modification and Re-compilation. Programming with C, Python and Network Sockets. Network Traffic Analysis at packet level.
• Familiarity in use of tools like netstat, traceroute, tcpdump, wireshark, scapy, dpkt, web development tools, etc. Cyber Security testbed configuration and Experimentation.
• Network Simulation and Emulation.

Project Associate (Level – II)

• First Class (60%) in BE/ BTech in Computer Science/Information Science or MCA from a recognised Institute/University with minimum of 02 years relevant post qualification experience or ME/ MTech in Computer Science or Digital Electronics from a recognised Institute/University.
• Certification in Linux and CCNP/CCNA. Knowledge of MySQL and other database.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and other Transport layer protocols like MPTCP, SCTP & QUIC. Linux Kernel Modification and Re-compilation. Programming with C, Python and Network Sockets. Network Traffic Analysis at packet level. Familiarity in use of tools like netstat, traceroute, tcpdump, wireshark, scapy, dpkt, web development tools, etc. Cyber Security testbed configuration and Experimentation.
• Network Simulation and Emulation.

Senior Project Associate

• First Class (60%) in BE/ BTech in Computer Science or Digital Electronics or equivalent from a recognised Institute/University with minimum of 04 years of experience in computer networking, cyber security and protocol engineering.
• Certification in Linux and CCNP/CCNA. Knowledge of MySQL and other database.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and other Transport layer protocols like MPTCP, SCTP & QUIC. Linux Kernel Modification and Re-compilation. Programming with C, Python and Network Sockets. Network Traffic Analysis at packet level. Familiarity in use of tools like netstat, traceroute, tcpdump, wireshark, scapy, dpkt, web development tools, etc. Cyber Security testbed configuration and Experimentation.
• Network Simulation and Emulation

Senior Project Associate

• First Class (60%) in BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognised Institute/ University with minimum of 04 years of experience in Linux Administration of large scale cluster.
• Knowledge of GPU programming, installation and running of computational models and configuration of Dockers based GPU computing.
• System administration & support to computational researchers on a GPU based large cluster and other activities related to HPC as assigned from time to time.
