Job Purpose:

• The scope of the role is centred around assigned project and, driving productivity improvement with excellent engineering skills. Responsibilities include prioritizing, planning and execution of project activities with focus on quality and innovation

Impact and Influence:

• Impacts on-time delivery by automating routine/regular day-to-day tasks and sharing the same with the team
• Impacts technical capability of the team by constantly improving and upgrading technical skills/knowledge to the global standard
• Influences the project risk mitigation by maintaining open and clear communication with the internal and external stakeholders
• Influences the quality deliverables by participating in peer reviews and knowledge sharing activities

Principal Accountabilities (A):

• Technical Management
  – Understands requirements
  o Understands and interprets the technical requirements as per the project specification and checklists
  o Demonstrates awareness of local and international standards as well as those required by the customer
  – Skill development and contribution
  o Keeps abreast of the technical skills/knowledge required for the role and shares knowledge with the team. Provides input to enhance team productivity
  o Responsible for contributing to presentations, demonstrations to the potential customers and for publishing technical papers under the guidance of Project Lead/Project Manager
  – Technical solution generation
  o Responsible for analysing the issues/challenges in day-to-day tasks and propose/support development of solutions in consultation with Project Lead/Project Manager
  o Accountable for providing error-free deliverables to agreed specifications, within the assigned time/effort estimated/planned
  – Innovation
  o Responsible for identifying opportunities to create new concepts/solutions, optimizing existing features in area of work and consult Project Lead/ Project Manager for implementing the same
• Project Management
  – Project planning and execution
  o Responsible for managing, maintaining and monitoring the assigned project task according to stipulated standards, practices and milestones
  o Ensures proper communication/escalation to Project Lead/Project Manager where required (e.g. scope change, dependency, risks)
  – Project review and reporting
  o Accountable for participating in peer reviews as required by the company/customer policy
  o Responsible for timely and prompt progress reporting to Project Lead/Project Manager as per project plan
  – Risk identification
  o Ensures proper communication with customer to avoid issue escalation as and when required in consultation with Project Lead/Project Manager
  o Responsible for conducting RCA, managing and mitigating/triaging the risks/issues in consultation with Project Lead/Project Manager
• Process Management
  – Process/ Productivity improvement
  o Contributes to best practices, lessons learnt and knowledge management. Assists implementing them in team for productivity improvement

  o Responsible for understanding and meeting quality standards as required

• Focus Area #1: Audio/ Video Conference Solutions Testing Automation
  – Required Experience
  o Greater than 5 years hands-on experience with automation.
  – One or more of the below:
  o More than 3 years hands-on experience in automating Mobile Application (Android, iPhone, iPad) – Using Appium or other
  o More than 2 years hands-on experience in automating Embedded Products – Using Perl, Python, C, C++.
  o More than 2 years hands-on experience in automating Web and Web Services. – Using Selenium
  o More than 2 years of hands-on experience in automating APIs – Using Java, JavaScript, and Python
  o Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Focus Area #2: Web & API Automation
  – Required Experience
  o Greater than 3 years hands-on experience with automation.
  o Must have 3 years hands-on experience in automating Web and Web Services.
  o Must have 2 years hands-on experience in automating APIs.
  o Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  o More than 3 years of hands-on experience developing WebUI using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Focus Area #3: Mobile Application Automation
  – Required Experience
  o Greater than 5 years hands-on experience with automation.
  o Must have 3 years hands-on experience in automating Mobile Application (Android, iPhone, iPad).
  o Must have 2 years hands-on experience in automating Web and Web Services. – Using Selenium.
  o Must have 2 years hands-on experience in automating APIs – Using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
