Desired Skills
Must have:
- 4 to 8 years of IT experience;
- Experience in C programming and data structures (tree, hash);
- Experience in Linux (rpm/deb packages, shell scripting, makefile, systemd);
- Experience in Network programming (TCP/UDP sockets);
- Experience in Linux IPC (Semaphore, message queue, shared memory);
- Experience in debugging using gdb;
- Experience in Typical packet flow from NIC to an application;
- Knowledge of routing protocols like OSPF, BGP;
- Knowledge of concepts like L2VPN, L3VPN, Routing table, FIB/RIB;
- Multi-threading experience.
Good to have:
- C++ programming skills;
- DPDK or netmap or similar framework/device driver knowledge;
- Experience in Configuration management system like ConfD (Tail-f);
- Experience in DB like MySQL;
- SNMP experience.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Role: Software Developer
- Develop VNFs such as VCPE etc.
- Contribute towards the design of the overall NFV solution offering of Netcracker;
- Estimating efforts and duration on development;
- Interaction with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and Customer Support teams;
- Provide expertise and best practices on technical aspects of product development and implementation projects including performance;
- Introduce new development technologies, instruments and techniques.
