Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification & Experience :a) First class Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electronics & Instrumentation from recognised University/Institute.
B) First class Post Graduation / Masters degree in Physics (Photonics / Optics), Chemistry (Physical/Analytical) from recognised University/Institute.
Monthly Stipend :Rs.12,000/- 1st & Rs.13,000/- 2nd year
Age limit : 26 Years

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Qualification & Experience :First class Engineering Post Graduate / Master Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science & Instrumentation from recognised University/Institute.
Monthly Stipend : Rs.14,000/- 1st & Rs.15,000/- 2nd year
Age limit : 28 Years
Application Fee : Rs.150/-

Research Fellow (RA)

Qualification & Experience : Ph.D./ Doctorate in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering from recognised University/Institute.
Monthly Stipend : Rs.18,000/- 1st & Rs.20,000/- 2nd year
Age limit : 32 Years
Application Fee : Rs.200/-

The Institute is now offering Research opportunities for bright young Engineers and Scientists to carry out identified research activities.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following.

Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC is allowed as per rules. Application fee (non-refundable) as specified above, should be paid by way of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of CMTI, Bangalore. No fee for SC/ST and women candidates. Selection will be on the basis of written Test and Interview

The tenure of Research Fellowship is generally 2 years which may be extended based on the annual review, for a further period of two years on enhanced stipend, subject to achieving satisfactory progress and continuity in the assigned Research Project.

Procedure to Apply :
